I founded HighRidge Systems in Durango, Colorado.
For over eleven years I ran sales and marketing at a lead generation company. My job was making the phone ring at other people’s businesses.
For seven of those same years, I was also selling mortgages. So I sat on both ends of the same transaction — generating the lead, and being the guy who had to catch it.
That’s where HighRidge comes from. Generating the lead wasn’t the hard part. Catching and converting it was. I watched good loan officers lose deals to people who weren’t better at the job, just faster to the phone. Then I opened my own brokerage, and I became the one missing calls because I was already on one.
Later I spent years on the other side of the table. I founded a digital agency. I ran digital for Elephant Group, one of the largest national affiliates in home services — cable, internet, security — where the entire business model was routing customers to whoever responded first. So I’ve also been the guy who builds something, hands over the login, and moves on to the next client.
For the last eleven years I’ve been in Durango, running marketing for Swan Global Investments, an asset manager headquartered here. Since late 2022 my efforts have gone into building AI and automation into how we actually operate — not demos, but systems that run outreach, follow-up, reporting, and processes every day.
HighRidge is those two halves put together: a problem I’ve watched cost people money for twenty-five years, and the tooling that finally makes it fixable for a business that isn’t the size of a bank.
